Part 10. Fotobabble

Well the final part of my assignment, it was a long time coming. So this one was an own choice so I chose to do a Fotobbale which is a website which allows you to edit your voice over a picture. It didn't take much time and the site was very easy to use. The microphone on my computer isn't very good so the sound quality is pretty rubbish and you may have to turn your sound up pretty high to hear my voice. I would try and fix this problem but its late and i'm tired. So, that's the end of my assignment. Bye :)

Part 9. Mosaic & Puzzle

The Ninth part of the assignment was to use Bighugelabs.com to create both a puzzle and a mosaic, I used pictures of my favourite animals to do mine. I got through this part of the assignment without a problem although again my set of intructions don't include how to embed my creation so i'm just using screen shots of them.

Part 8. Blog Side Bar

Part eight took just as much time and effort as part seven. Pretty simple just insert a slideshow widget into our blog. Mine just runs through a list of optical illusions. A bit self-eplanitory you can see it in the blog sidebar.

Part 7. Wordle

This part of the assignment took all of five minutes to do, all it was was making a quick word cloud on wordle. My just uses the wikipedia definition or the word 'text' as the text for the cloud. Not a lot of effort went into it so this post will be rather short.

Part 6. Prezi

The sixth part of our assignment was to in a group of three create a presentation on the canvas based progam Prezi informing people on road safety.

During the process, due to how the editing together works a lot of our time was spent post messages to each other and just all together sabotaging each others work. The teamwork aspect of prezi made it very easy to get distracted and procrastinate. A lot of work was done the night before this leg of the assignment was due.

However, the final product was something that the three of us were proud of and it came out looking very professional. Although, I am still unsure as to how to embed the presentation in prezi as is doesn't say in any of our tutorial and instructions.

Hopefully after returning to school I'll find out how to embed our presentation and it will be edited into this post.

Part 5. Picasa

Well the fifth part of the assignment was to create people our of fruit and vegetables on photoshop and then upload them in a slideshow onto Picasa, Google's verion of Flickr. It was a bit of the collaboration, we each did a few images and them uploaded what we thought were our best ones and so that's what's in the slideshow, eight fruit faces.

Picasa was very easy to use and is far more simple han Flickr in my opinion. the whole process didn't take more than ten or so minutes and I didn't encounter any problems while doing this part of the assignment.

Part 4. Flash

We were meant to do Flash but I dont have the program at home. So Instad I made a Voki avatar. it didn't take a very long time to do, just create what your avatar looked like and then type in some text for what it should say and then it was finished. I got to the part where I was meant to add it to my blog and no matter what I tryed I kept getting the message "Post has failed" so Hopefully it'll be up and running buy tomorrow.

Part 3. Wix

Alright, so this is the third part of my assignment. Its been done for quiet a while now and I just havn't posted it on here yet. That's the case with quiet a few of the peices so there will probably be a lot of posts in rather quick succession.

Anyway, The third part of the Assignment was on Wix. A website that allows you to create other websites, the ones that you create are usually kind of small but they function alright and can come out looking rather professional. The assignment was to create a small five page website regarding a band that we like. Mine in on Panic! at the Disco, not because i particularly like them just because i thought it would be a preety easy band to do with all the news about them over the last few months.


My website isn't wonderful but its functional and easy to use (At least it was when i was testing it, not sure how its going to do in my blog). It has a home page, a page on the band's history, its members, the discography and s few youtube videos. It wasn't hard to put together taking maybe an hour or two over several days, I can't do all this in one sitting. It was pretty easy the only hard part i've encountered was getting it ont my blog. It comes out relatvely small in my blog due to resizing issues so i've included the link below.

Part 2. Animoto

Our second task was to make a video on a website called Animoto that depicts an intrest or hobby. I did my video on guitars seeing as i've been playing since i was very little. The actual video took less than ten minutes to make. The reason its taken me so long to do a second post was because of the array of problems i've had trying to upload the video. Originally the video worked on my computer at home but then not at my school, and then it just wouldn't upload, i tryed dowloading the video and uploading it in various formats. In the end, with some assistance from a friend, I just copied and [pasted the code and it worked fairly well. So yeah, Enjoy :D

Part 1. Flickr

This is the first part of my (hopefully) ten part assignment for my Information, Communication and Technology class assignment. Essentially, part one was for us to photoshop sand sculptures into other backgrounds. It was a pretty straightforward task, although about half of my images aren't ones that I'm particularly proud of. In my opinion only two are any good and even then I wouldn't proudly show them to anyone by my own choice.

Some of the images are absolutely apalling. there are three in particular that I'm very ashamed of and I think you'll be able to tell which ones they are. I probably should have gotten a few more done as nine is a pretty poor effort on my part but time constraints meant that it was really the best I could do.

Anyway, the work's done, I  have another nine mini assignments to do so Enjoy :D
